In May

via
books:
Captain America: The Winter Soldier Ultimate Collection, by Ed Brubaker - Loved this comic.
some short stories by Flannery O'Conner - Didn't like them.
Mary Queen of Scots, by Emily Hahn

film:
Night at the Museum (1, 2 & 3) - I love the third movie.
To Kill a Mockingbird - I was so close to being very happy with it as a retelling of the book, but I didn't feel like it portrayed certain key scenes properly.
*The Princess and the Frog
*The Swan Princess
*Anastasia
*Captain America: The Winter Soldier ♥
Avengers: Age of Ultron (x2)
Tomorrowland
Agents of SHIELD (season two) - Sadly there's not much left of it that I love anymore.
Daredevil (season one) ♥

† Landmark Book
* seen before

Went on a hike today with my family and spent the whole time running/walking up the mountain with my dad all the while narrating to him the entire plot of Daredevil and trying to explain to him why it's exactly awesome. That was fun. Then I explained the entire plot of Guardians of the Galaxy piece by piece to my mom. I'm so happy my family is into Marvel.

  3. *cries over Winter Soldier* *cries over Age of Ultron* Okay, I think I'm don--oh wait *cries over RDJ and Mark Ruffalo gif* Okay, now I'm done.

My mom can't stand any of the movies I like but my dad is into Marvel as he read some of the comics when he was young (although he doesn't remember them now lol) so he likes to go see and talk about the movies with me. Thankfully, or else I'd explode with holding in my fangirl.

Anyway, great list! I've always thought Anastasia was a good movie and would be great as live-action--I may or may not have already cast and partially directed the live-action version in my head :P

    1. haha yeah, I know the feeling.

I'm glad you have someone to talk to about it then...I'd explode too if I didn't. :/

I love Anastasia. Oo that'd be cool, I never thought about what it'd be like live-action....

  4. Marvel comic books and movies are the best. ^.^ My mom hates action and my dad can't remember the names of anyone in the movies, even if they are the titular characters, so really, the only person I can talk to about Marvle is my brother, but he doesn't watch Agents of SHIELD or Agent Carter. DX Daww, what do you mean, there isn't much left that you love about the show anymore?

Ooh, Anastasia! It's been awhile since I've seen the movie; I remember recently cleaning out through my garage and stumbling upon it, but when I saw it, I couldn't remember its plot all that well. I'll go on for a rewatch. ^.^

    xoxo Morning

(P.S. My family rewatched the entire Night at the Mueseum in May, too! My favorite's the second.)

    1. haha Well yay for your brother. :) I feel like the show's overall quality has gone down in the second season, but the main thing is just that what I loved about it from season one - the way they were all like a family and their home was the bus and all - has been diminishing while the amount of gore has gone up, which isn't a trade I'm interested in. :/ I guess I was never really into SHIELD much anyway, the quality seems to have gone down so now I'm just less interested in it.

      You should! It's such a fun movie/story. :)

I love the Night at the Museum movies. :)

    1. Isn't it great?! :) Yes, do! That would be so fun.

It sure is. I'm so glad my family is into it, I don't know who I'd talk nerd and fangirl to about it otherwise.

  7. Bummer about Agents of SHIELD. I just started S1 and thought it was typical entertaining Marvel stuff. Maybe it'll get better. :)

  9. Ooooh yay! You did a review for Tomorrowland? *does a happy dance* Imma have to head over to that now and check it out. I really wanted to go and see it with my sister but it promptly left our only nearby theater. *whales* (yes we live in the woods why do you ask?) What was I gonna talk about, maaaan.... OH! Night at the Museum -- I was wondering about the third movie. I didn't like the second one and by the time a third one came out I'm like "SERIOUSLY? Don't you think we're going kind of overkill on this?!" but then I saw that Dan Stevens plays in it and I'm like "OKAY NEVERMIND I'M COOL." But I still haven't watched it. x) I'm glad you had a lovely month! May June be just as lovely. *thinks around for another word to replace "may" because may, june, eh....* *gives up*

    love,
    abbie

    1. Aw too bad it left your theater so quickly! About Night at the Museum 3: I loved that one. Dan Stevens' character was a lot of fun. I didn't like the second movie either (I love how all the characters are like a family and in the second one they're all separated and some of my favorites characters are barely seen - like Teddy and Ahkmenrah), but the third is just a lot of fun and since most of it takes place in England it's not made boring by an old setting. So if you liked the first movie I'd give it a shot, and Dan Stevens as Lancelot is just perfect so you might as well watch it just for that. ;)

Thank you, I hope you have a great May. :) haha " may june "

  10. Hey! How are you doing? I just wanted to let you know that I have decided to make/sell blog buttons. Please tell your blogging friends!
I was inspired by Miss Shelby's new blog "Every Bit Of Lovely". ( everybitoflovely13.blogspot.com) Her blog is so colorful
and cheerful that I decided to make a button for it. It was really fun and it's actually on her blog now. Anyways, Lately
I have been trying to think of different ways to raise a little bit of money and this is one that not only helped me raise
some but is also a lot of fun. So, I looked online and to buy a blog button was about 20 to 25 dollars or so. Now, I'm not
a professional or anything and if you ask me, that's a little much. So I'm going to be selling the buttons for 5 dollars
each. I have a page on my blog(maddysdigitaldiary.wordpress.com)but you can just email me if you want one. What it will be is, I'll
have you answer a few questions like the color you want, pattern, anything special, etc. Once you answer those I'll make
your button and send it to you. If you don't like it or you want something a little different then I'd gladly change it for
you. Once I email it to you, you would send me 5 dollars in the mail. You can also buy more then one at a time if you wish.
So, how does that sound? Please tell your friends and I would love it if you would share it on your blog! (If you do then
please let me know and I'll check it out!) Thanks! Hopefully I can get a few orders. Please email me if you or one of your
friends are interesting or you have any questions or comments! Have a blessed day! ~Maddy

  11. Ooo, Night at the Museum! You just watched all three for the first time? That must have been fun. I really like that trilogy. :D

I need to see Age of Ultron a second time. Urg. :P

DAREDEVIL. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!! Plus lots more yeses. That show was so awesome I sometimes think I just imagined it all. Except my imagination isn't even good enough to have thought of all that awesomeness. :P Are you going to write a review for it? I love to read it. :D

    1. I'd actually seen the second movie a looong time ago, but not either of the other two before now. So yeah. They're such a fun series. :)

Yes. Marvel movies require second viewings. Sometimes third viewings as well. Or more. You know.

DARE.DEVIL. ARUGH. YES. HAPPY. I am working on a review of it, and thank you. :D It's been a lot of fun readings your reviews of it. I'm so glad you like it too - I don't know what I'd do without anyone to fan over it with. ;)
