Grand Canyon Pictures & This Week, Apr. 12

My family was at the Grand Canyon on Easter Sunday for a sunrise service. It was so
beautiful. And cold. Afterwards we got some breakfast. It was fun.

loved:
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
getting unexpectedly stranded at my violin teacher's house and her kids teaching me to play Mario Kart
I Dream of Jeanie - Jeanie and Tony are just so cute
road trips and singing in the car
watching Oklahoma in the car
listing to music with my sister
Elvis' music - I always get hooked on it all over again after watching Lilo and Stitch
looking forward to Age of Ultron

favorite music:
Listen to the Man, George Ezra - I love that song, and the music video is so fun (guys, Ian Mckellen).
Suspicious Minds, Elvis Presley ♥

favorite quote:
"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal..." - Phililppians 3:13 niv

I hope you all have an absolutely fantastic week. Y'all are seriously awesome. xx

  11. Dear Sarah,

So I just stumbled upon your blog and oh my. It is so, so beautiful! These photos of the grand canyon are breathtaking. I miss that place. <3 My family went there once but I think I was too distracted with my apparently fascinating Barbie dolls to notice or care. x) Sunrise service sounds incredibly beautiful. I often imagine what the first explorers felt when they saw the grand canyon for the first time ever. Or even the sunrise over the canyon. That must've been quite the wow moment. I'll be following along and waiting for more awesomeness. (; Keep on writing, thinking, dreaming.

    love,

    1. Hey, thank you so much! <3 haha Yeah, I can totally sympathize with having been too distracted with whatever too appreciate stuff...museums, scenery, etc. etc. ;) It was beautiful to see the sun rise over the canyon. It must have been amazing for explorers to have stumbled on it and seen it there so majestic and silent and big. Thanks for following, Beezee!
