Isn't that cloud cute?
Flame-Colored Taffeta, by Rosemary Sutcliff
Great Men of Medicine, by Ruth Fox Hume

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I Dream of Jeannie
Once Upon a Time
Nanny Diaries (Chris Evans & Scarlett Johansson) - It was a fun chick flick and had some interesting camera work and effects.
*Sleeping Beauty ♥
The Fantastic Four
Percy Jackson - I liked it, it has some clever ideas and the main actor is good, but there parts where it turned laughable, and it was easy to see the books are probably much better.* Still, I'd like to watch the second movie sometime.
*The Three Musketeers - I've watched this movie so many times, but I still love it and laugh at every joke.

† Landmark Book
* seen before

week posts: one & two

I'm currently away from home and most of those pictures were taken out of the car window. The next few weeks are gonna be a rush of finishing school. It's that time of year. What books and movies/tv did you enjoy especially in April? I hope you all have a truly lovely May. Who's planning on seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron in theaters? xx

* (spoilers) If all the Greek myths are true how did Percy and his friends meet Medusa? I mean, she died in a Greek myth, Perseus killed her.

Second Blog Anniversary

This morning it snowed outside the hotel window. I rode in the car all day today, and yesterday, and the couple o' days before. It's vacation, though I'm still doing school. I love traveling, going places. Doesn't really matter where as long as I'm going somewhere. It continued snowing all day and I wrapped myself in a blanket and listened to music and thought about stuff.

It's hard to comprehend that this blog has been around for two years. It feels a lot shorter than that, but mostly it feels a lot longer. I'm so thankful for the friends I've made here. My family moved once since I started this blog, and moved houses twice. All my older siblings left home. I turned 14, 15, 16. Funny what a difference there is between 13 and 16.

I love writing here. I love writing out thoughts and reviews. I love reading and replying to y'all's comments. They make my day every time. You all are an awesome bunch. Thanks for reading, following, commenting - whatever it is you do. I appreciate it. You guys make my day.

It's late now and I'm tired. Snow always makes me feel like Christmas, and there are few feelings I love so much. I knew just what I wanted to say here earlier, but now I can't think. What I remember is a wish to somehow express my thankfulness of having this place and of making the friends I've made on Blogger. I don't know how to say it anymore though. I don't know how to explain the ways I've grown up since I started this blog, or the kind of happiness that comes of knowing this place is mine. It's fun having my own little place to fiddle with and write on and comment back and forth about books or movies or whatever it is. It's fun having my own little place. It's fun and I think you guys are awesome. xx

All We Have to Decide

“I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.
"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
