In January

via
A happy snowman in his element. Thank you.

I read (to completion):

†Julius Caesar, by Joseph Cellini
The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic, by Jennifer Trafton
The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak
The book is about a young German girl named Liesel living in Germany during WW2. It's about the power of words and how Hitler took over Germany with promises and lies and about a Jew who showed Liesel that all those promises and lies were were words. And it's about Liesel taking back the words with the help of her foster-father, who taught her how to read. The Book Thief had a lot of interesting ideas in it, even if they weren't new; Markus Zusak is a very talented writer who has mastered his writing style, that's for sure, and I appreciate that even if I don't care for the style of writing itself.
Morte d'Arthur, by Tennyson
*Through the Looking Glass, by Lewis Carroll

I watched:
Doctor Who - season one and most of season two
Frozen
Angels Sing
Merlin - about half of season five
Once Upon a Time - about half of season two <3

*Books/movies I've read/watched before.
† Landmark Book

  2. Oooh, so you started back with Nine now? I started with the beginning of Eleven, caught up to the end (season 6 at the time) and then started over again beginning with Nine. It worked really well. :) I hope you're enjoying it!

    1. Yep, started back with nine. :) I am enjoying it (but gosh, there is a lot of it), thanks! :D

    2. Yeah, I started at nine too. There IS a lot! I'm only on the Tenth Doctor! Which one are you on now?

    3. Well, that's kinda hard to say. :) I started back with nine, like you, and from there I've worked up to ten...but then before any of that I'd watched a whole season of eleven.... So, you get what I mean. :)

  3. Is the Book Thief worth reading? I've been asking different people about it to get the general idea of if it would be worth my time. I'm not one of those people who can just pick up a book and read it just because everyone else is...I like to know a bit about it and get different people's opinions on it:)
Oh! And this is what Olaf there at the top reminded me of:
"Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle!
But put me in summer and I'll be a...
    HAPPY SNOWMAN!!!"
    One of my fav. Characters:)
    Have a good day!:)

    1. Hmmm...I'm not really sure what to say. I liked it, but I didn't love it. It was interesting, you could read the first few pages or something if you have it available and then decide if you want to read the rest. It wasn't very gripping, I had to make myself finish it...I did like the end though. Does that help as all? :)
YAY FOR HAPPY SNOWMEN! ;) I love that part when Christoff says, "I don't think he knows. We should tell him. Somebody has to tell him." :)

    1. Yes, yes, yes, Olaf is adorable. ;D Once Upon a Time is really nice, lots and lots of interesting characters and old fairy tales mixed up together. :) The Book Thief is neat (though I personally prefer the aforementioned fairy tales ;)), and there are a lot of neat little definitions scattered all through the book and similes that are interesting. :)
